Tehran (Web Desk) Field Marshal and Army Chief General Asim Munir has met with Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf in Tehran.

According to details released by Iranian media, Qalibaf said during the meeting that “We will not back down from the rights of our country and nation, especially in front of a party (America) that has never shown the truth and which cannot be trusted in any way.”

He said that “our armed forces have strengthened themselves during the ceasefire in such a way that if Trump makes a mistake again and starts a war, it will prove to be more bitter and destructive for America than the first day.”

It should be noted that to reduce Iran-US tensions, Army Chief General Asim Munir had arrived in Tehran the previous day, where he held detailed discussions with Iranian authorities on the regional situation and security issues.

The Pakistan Army Chief also met with Iranian President Masoud Pazakhstani in Tehran. This is his second visit to Iran in th

e past few weeks.

According to Iranian authorities, Field Marshal Asim Munir also had a detailed meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi last night, which continued until late at night.

Earlier, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi had also visited Tehran for the second time in a few days, where he held important meetings with Iranian authorities.

It should be noted that Pakistan is playing the role of mediator in the ongoing talks between Iran and the United States and the current diplomatic activities are being described as a link in this chain.
