The changing role of women

The changing role of women
The changing role of women

In the last few years, we have seen the role of women change dramatically. Think of your grandmother, if you are over 40 years old. she probably didn't work out of the house but she kept the house clean, served food on time. and washed everything.
And ironing in sight! Founded in the '50s, in the movie Haven Can Weight. she portrays the star in her belly, as a "perfect" maid in a full skirt. floral dress, using the latest hover to evacuate her home. He used and became such a good cook that he was interviewed. By the then 'Magazine' Ladies Home Journal.
In the '60s, women left the kitchen and a women's movement was born. With the advent of the pill. she gained a degree of freedom and her life changed once again as working mothers became more visible and women. through their mothers, sought to free themselves from the shackles of character. Some marched with their children to end the war in Vietnam.
Forty years on and where are we now? I saw some women still struggling with their claims to power. Some are still fighting to find equality in their jobs and relationships. Many are trying to reshape their sexuality and discover feminine consciousness.
Many people are still skeptical of themselves and the choices they have made. There are over a million tools in the form of books, seminars, techniques, etc. to tell us how to heal ourselves with ease and grace ... it's just that we suffer from it.
How to want it is now! For many, our burdens are the ones that keep us moving. the crutches that keep us from doing all this. People cheer for a day or a week and then forget ... proving, imagining, meditating.

The women I know want a world that is a safe place for their children and grandchildren. a place where children do not live in fear and many people now believe that when women are together and each other Learn from and work with them. both at home and in the world, to end violence then we will see peace.
We must find a way to empower, to support, to bring spirituality, empathy. and the desire and need for women and thus peace in the world. We have to remember the fact that we really are who we are right now and move on. this is the most exciting time in history so I want to impress you all with some stories from the past and present.
Sacred femininity is re-emerging on our beautiful Gaia, Mother Earth, mostly through women but also through our beautiful conscious men. Many books (Mist of Oval and Da Vinci Code) have depicted Mary Magdalene's figure. which shows that she is very meaningful.
Now in some churches parents are used to praying to God. Judaism speaks of Shakina, who is the presence of the feminine deity. the Orthodox religion emphasizes Mary as Teutococcus. which means God-forgiving, and there are statues of the Black Madonna everywhere.
So what is sacred feminine? It is, in fact, the concerns of motherhood, empathy. the feminine principle that tends to be spiritual. whole, which may lead her to recognize God within us and within herself. It unites the world.
Did you know that the first Mother's Day announcement was a call to gather women? Women are instructed to add their voices to the voice of the destructive land and women are urged to consult with each other to find ways to bring peace to the world.
It was written in 1870 !! In the 19th century, a man named Matthew Arnold said: "If there ever comes a time when the women of the world come together purely and simply for the benefit of humanity, it will be a power the world has never seen." ۔ "
Muhammad Younis, the founder of Grameen Bank in Bangladesh, started the idea of a microwave in 1976. Millions of creditors have received and repaid more than  2 billion. The bank gives money to women who use it for future sources of income. such as chickens or goats, sewing machines, or vegetables.
some others (eggs, milk, clothing, etc.) in groups of 5 women. The woman discusses her thoughts. 1 or 2 take loans and others support these women. After 6 weeks of regular weekly payments. the other two take out their own loans and each helps them until the five have their own businesses. It builds trust, builds community, and draws on the old ideology of women's circles.
In Nigeria in 2002, 600 women between the ages of 20 and 90 protested. and staged a sit-in that closed a huge Chevron Texas terminal. About 150 women managed to get inside the facility and block the airstrip and port. which was the exit route, and held 700 workers hostage.
Why? The facility is located in the oil-rich Niger Delta. and the people around it are living in poverty due to a lack of electricity and running water. The women protested to the oil company to persuade them to hire their sons and husbands and fathers and returned to their villages after receiving a little more.
The company called in police and soldiers at gunpoint, but in the end, it ended peacefully. The company installed electricity and water systems in its communities. built schools and clinics hired sons and husbands. And sell food to the food company cafeteria to help women build poultry farms. It was a group of older women who led the protest!
In Argentina, from 1976 to 1983, under military rule, about 30,000 people went missing. They were kidnapped, arrested, tortured, distorted, and killed. The protesters were the mothers of the missing, known as members of the Madras de la Plaza de Mayo.
In 1977, they started marching in the plaza every Thursday. A woman loses 7 members of her family and begs the archbishop to use her influence only to be asked to praise the Virgin Mary and resign herself to her loss! Why did they march? Out of frustration. out of anxiety ... out of the need to be heard.
Fourteen women walked for the first time and took nine of them. including a nun, never to be heard again. but the mothers returned the next week and weeks, months and years later. In the early days, he was known as a lunatic. They are now considered the conscience of Argentina.
In a Ugandan village, a woman was severely and regularly beaten by her husband. When other women from the village asked her about it. she told them she felt they "deserved it." He pointed out that if he was killed, his children would be without a mother. and then he decided to allow them to help.
They gave him a plastic baby whistle and the next time he was beaten. he blew the whistle. Every woman in the village ran to the hut and asked if he had been beaten. The beating stopped. Soon all the women of the village whistled a little and this idea went from village to village and eventually led to legislation that abused wives.
Inspiring stories as I listen to you and my question to you is what are you going to do now? Like every second of our days, we have choices. We can hide behind self-confidence, hear a small voice saying "You can't do that!" Or we can go to expand ourselves ... go beyond our limited limits, go beyond our comfort zone to a place where our soul can express itself through us. Where our survival guides us where we need to be, where our core ego allows us to be who we are forever.
So in closing, what is the interconnected link? I believe these women support each other. Women who want to make a difference not only in their own lives but also in the lives of others. Married women are sitting together in circles, sharing something, listening to something, they are all there for each other, without any decision, just with compassion and love. The spiritual circle invites the hidden world of the soul to exist and in this presentation, there will be a flow of peace. What I wish for you is to find a circle of friends who ask you more than you ... who wrap their arms around you when you are sad and laugh and celebrate. A circle in which you know your life is important and you care. Like Clarissa Panolala Estes (the woman who walks with wolves), she says: I am. "
I am committed to peace, I love learning and anything that makes a difference on the planet. For the past 22 years, this has included facilitating the Inside Goddess, an international couple with my husband, Robert, and Tantra, facilitating the human inner journey.
