US President Donald Trump has claimed that the United States is very close to a strong and effective deal with Iran, with the blockade of Iranian ports putting more pressure on Tehran than bombing it.

Speaking to reporters, Trump said that a very good, strong and powerful deal is close to being reached between the United States and Iran.

According to him, if the United States wants, it can easily bomb Iran for another two or three weeks, but in that case there will be massive casualties, which they do not want.

Trump said that a diplomatic solution could prove more effective than military action and that he wants the two sides to reach an agreement that is even stronger than military action.

 

According to the US President, the port blockade imposed on Iran has had an extraordinary effect.

He said that the combination of economic pressure and initial US measures has severely affected Iran's economy, due to which Tehran may be willing to make a deal.

Trump added that if there had been a large-scale bombing, the Strait of Hormuz could have been closed for a long time, which would have had serious consequences for global energy supplies and the global economy.

On the other hand, Trump also expressed hope for a peace agreement in the Middle East. He said that the parties had entered an important phase and were in the “final stages” of the process.

When asked how soon an agreement was possible, he replied that this development could come within the next two to three days.

Trump’s statements are being considered important at a time when tensions between Iran and Israel in the region, ceasefire efforts and diplomatic contacts are the center of global attention.
