A special meeting of the National Security Committee continues
A special
meeting of the National Security Committee on the recent tension between
Pakistan and Iran is ongoing at the Prime Minister's House in Islamabad under the
chairmanship of Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar.

of the three armed forces, including the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff
Committee, are participating in the meeting.
Apart from
this, the federal ministers in charge of defense, foreign affairs, finance and

In this
special meeting of the National Security Committee, a briefing is being given
regarding the tension with Iran and Pakistan's attack on 'terrorists' in Iran.

(Friday) there was a contact between Pakistan's Caretaker Foreign Minister
Jalil Abbas Jilani and Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdullahian.

the statement of the Foreign Office of Pakistan, "Pakistani Foreign
Minister expressed his determination to work with Iran on all issues with the
spirit of mutual trust and cooperation."
According to

Prime Minister cut short his foreign visit
