US President Trump concludes Gulf visit, says 'I want to meet President Putin'
US President
Donald Trump has said he would like to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin
very soon.
Speaking at
a business roundtable in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on Friday, according
to Arab News, President Trump said he would like to meet the Russian president
“as soon as it can be arranged.”
He said,
referring to the peace talks between Russia and Ukraine in Turkey, “Let’s see
what happens with Russia and Ukraine.”
The US
President also spoke to reporters about his administration's monitoring of the
situation in Gaza and said that they are 'watching.'
He said that
'We are watching Gaza. And we are going to take care of them. There are a lot
of people who are hungry.'
At the end
of his Gulf tour, President Trump said that he had signed investment agreements
worth $ 1.4 trillion with Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
According to
the Associated Press news agency, US President Trump said that he had made an
'incredible' trip to the Middle East but that 'it is time to go home now.'
He added
that 'My daughter had a baby and I am going home to see this baby.'
Donald
Trump's daughter Tiffany Trump has given birth to a boy. President Trump said
about her daughter that 'she is healthy and the baby is fine.'
