Is Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu dead? Iranian media's big claim revealed
An Iranian
news agency has published a report based on speculation that Israeli Prime
Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been injured or killed, but no solid evidence
has been presented to support the claim.
According to
the report, the Iranian news agency Tasnim News said in an article that doubts
have been raised about Netanyahu in recent days due to the lack of new videos
of him, the tightening of security around his residence and the postponement of
some diplomatic meetings.
The report
also cited a statement by former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter, which
claimed that Iran targeted Netanyahu’s possible hideout and that his brother
was killed in the attack. However, Tasnim News itself admitted that there was
no official confirmation or denial of this claim.
On the other
hand, according to the available information, the Israeli Prime Minister issued
an official statement on March 7, while according to Israeli officials, he had
also visited the site of an attack in Beersheba on March 6.
Israeli
officials had previously described such claims as "fake news".
Analysts say that in war situations, conspiracy theories are often spread based
on incomplete information or rumors.
