The movie 'The Kerala Store made in India is going to release this week but its story has become controversial even before its release.
The film 'The Kerala Story' is currently trending on Twitter and the Chief Minister of
the Indian state of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan, has termed it as 'propaganda'.
According to the Indian media, the film
claims that about 32 thousand women are missing in Kerala and these women are ready to be used for terrorist acts in
India and other countries of the world after accepting Islam.
According to NDTV, Kerala Chief Minister
Pinarayi Vijayan accused the film's producers of promoting
'Sangh Parivar propaganda', aimed at inciting 'love jihad' in the state of

Central Congress leader Shashi Tharoor also
shared the poster of the film in a tweet and wrote, 'This may be your
Kerala story but it is not our Kerala
story.'
Communist Party of India leader Thomas Isaac

He further wrote that 'The film Kerala Kahani

On the other hand, 30-year-old actor Ada
Sharma, who plays the lead role in the film, is seen defending 'Da Kerala
Kahani'.
He wrote in one of his tweets that 'The
Kerala story is not related to any election, agenda or religion but it is
bigger than that.'
"It's about terrorism versus
humanity," he added. Ada Sharma responded to the film's critics by
writing, 'Calling it propaganda is like hiding the story of every girl whose
life was destroyed.
Journalist Muhammad Zubair, who runs a Fact
Check website in India, wrote in a tweet that the film's teaser and the
director's claim that 32,000 women from Kerala have joined ISIS are baseless.
