Biotech Pfizer Corona Vaccine Production Increases, The
first vaccine against the coronavirus was jointly developed by the German
company Biotech and Pfizer. Germany has now decided to increase its production.
The vaccine, developed by Biotech, is being developed in
Barna, near the East German part of the pharmaceutical company Derma Pharma.
The production was launched in October last year. However, preliminary testing
of the vaccine was ongoing at the time.
Commercial production of the vaccine has increased after formal
approval by the United States, the European Union, and several other countries
based on its clinical trial data, but demand has risen sharply.
Pfizer Vaccine demand
European countries are facing severe shortages of the corona
vaccine. Pharmaceutical company Derma Pharma is now allowed to start production
elsewhere to increase vaccine production. Derma Pharma's second production
house is in Rainbow, near the city of Hamburg. The Corona vaccine from
Rhinebeck is expected to be available in the market from May this year.

Feldmeier, chief executive officer of Derma Pharma, the 5 million corona
vaccines provided in 2020 were manufactured by Derma Pharma's factory in Burma.

75 million additional doses to the EU from its second factory, Rhinebeck. All
of this food will be provided later this year.
Other vaccines

vaccine have received emergency approval from several countries. Demand for all
three vaccines is growing. In addition, vaccines from Russia and China are also
