Is the sequel of 'Three Idiots' coming or not? Aamir Khan and R Madhavan cleared

Rumors of a sequel to the popular Bollywood film 'Three Idiots' have been circulating for a long time, while a video also surfaced in which Aamir Khan is seen announcing the second part of the film, but that video proved to be AI generated.

Even then, fans were hoping that one day a part two would suddenly be announced and they would see their favorite artists once again in a new way.

Whether it will happen or not, India.com has reported based on the reactions of Aamir Khan and R Madhavan.

R. Madhavan, who played the role of Farhan Qureshi in the film, admitted in an interview that the talk of a sequel to 3 Idiots sounds great, but now it doesn't seem feasible.

"Now that Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi and I have grown old enough, how can we proceed with the sequel in the same way?"

Earlier, Aamir Khan has also expressed some similar thoughts. He says that there are no plans to make a sequel to 3 Idiots and it seems complicated to make it in the same spirit.

He says that a sequel should be made only when we have such a powerful story that is capable of carrying the responsibility of carrying the film forward.

According to him, if a sequel to such a famous film is made without it, it can spoil the perception of the film.

Earlier there were rumors that work on the second part of the 2009 super hit film 'Three Idiots' has been started in 2025 and there were reports that director Rajkumar Hirani has also finalized the script.

It has also been said that the name of the new film will be 'Four Idiots', after which fans started talking about who the fourth character could be, some people even started suggesting possible names for him, but all these things are just rumours.

Released in 2009, 'Three Idiots' broke several records and became the first Indian film to gross over Rs 400 crore worldwide.

It dealt with various social, traditional and other issues as well as the education system, which was well liked and the friendliness of its characters was also much appreciated.

In addition to Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan and Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor, Boman Irani, Om Vaidya and Mona Singh also showed the essence of acting and even today fans watch this film with great interest.
