Book Review ۔۔۔ Sheedy King, a historical fact.
The joint work of Sheedi
Muhammad Yaqub Qambrani and Allama Agha Muhammad Qambrani (Sheedi
Badshah, a historical fact) was recently unveiled at the Karachi Press
Club. The 168-page book is based on 28 titles. Each title is a treasure trove
of valuable information. Central Publishing House, Pakistan Sheedi Ittihad is
the publisher of this book.
This book will surely prove to be
the work of the Pakistan-Pakistan Marriage Alliance which has a lot to do with a dark
history. Although many books on the Sheedi tribe have come to light,
Sheedi Badshah is a unique book on the subject of historical and research
analysis of the black race, from the beginning and evolution of mankind
to the lineage of the Sheedi tribe. In this regard, it is perhaps the
first book to highlight the Islamic history of the tribe, which is commendable.
On page 22 of the book, the author
writes in the title: Abu al-Bashir's reasons and at the beginning of the
Black Generation that all the descendants of Abu al-Bashir drowned in
the flood of Noah due to disobedience to the Prophet. The remaining 72
and, according to some traditions, 80 survived. After Adam (peace be upon him),
God bestowed on Noah (peace be upon him) the title and distinction of Abu
al-Bashir II and intended to settle him by color and race, after which the
crown of man's quality and virtue had to be given only faith and piety.
It is narrated that one day while
Noah was resting in his ark, a gust of wind came and his clothes were taken
off. When his sons Ham and Japheth saw this, they laughed. The third
brother, Sam, rebuked them and forbade them. Hazrat's eyes were opened and when
he found out the reason for his laughter, Sam told the whole story. Hearing
this, Prophet Noah (peace be upon him) raised his hands towards the sky and
started praying: Lord! Change the water of the Ham Cross in such a way
that it produces only the Sheedi (Sudanese, Abyssinian, Black) race and
also changes the cross water of the Japheth which gives birth to the Turks and
Scalba or Goose and Magog and the Chinese race
The author writes that we have
also referred the book to scholars who belong to the black, sheedy, Abyssinian,
Sudanese, African, American, Canaanite, Egyptian, Yemeni, Libyan, Tanzanian
races anywhere in the world. In fact, the authors write that Abyssinia, now
called Africa, is a clear symbol of Islamic influence in the Arabic
language. There are about 99 countries in the continent of Africa where the
most spoken languages are Swahili, Swahili, and Arabic. It also belongs to the
black race.
The author Sheedi Muhammad Yaqub Qambrani writes in the foreword of the book that our black people in this region are also called Sheedi, Dada here. Different people have different views about it, which are mostly based on assumptions, about which the common man, many famous historians do not even know. Very few people know that these people who look unique in them (Sheedi) have their own culture, their own culture, and a stronger identity.
We believe that the era of slavery
was at its height in the early days without any discrimination, due to which
many people fell victim to it individually. They include not only marriage but
also tribes and individuals. If there were no tribal differences in marriage,
no world power could have set foot on African soil. We are oppressed by our own
people. But we didn't tell anyone what to do next. Poverty and economic
hardship were all around the marriage, prejudice was on the rise. The strong
hope of our elders was for their talented youth who will at least get rid of
this humiliating behavior.
We saw sadness and uneasiness in
their eyes, the search for a leader and a true sympathizer who promises the
survival and better future of the next generation, who can heal the wounds of
the soul with love. Who is not a slave to the economic, social,
political, and intellectual class and temporal environment, who has mad love
for his race? Elders used to tell their children about the situations and
events they heard from their elders with great interest. He was an expert in
every genre and an expert in every art. These were the historians who said
goodbye to the world with many secrets in their hearts. What we have learned
from them, we are presenting to our youth and the world through this book
without any fear.
The authors write about Sheedi in
the fact that historians' views on Sheedi are full of contradictions. Most
researchers have traditionally used the region's history, which is a
gross injustice to history. As a result, the reader of this period, despite his
interest in the history of human evolution, could not quench his thirst for
curiosity. Marriage and the black race have absorbed tragic moments of
prejudice and exploitation in the world. This most difficult journey of history
has been completed with great patience and perseverance. The evolution of Sheedi
is attributed to Ham ibn Noah. The mausoleum of Ham bin Noah is located in
the ancient cemetery of Gujarat (Pandadan Khan) in Pakistan and the
black race in the world belongs to the Ham race which includes a mixture of
black marriage, Abyssinian, Sudanese, and ordinary black human circle. Or in
fact, it is a distinction that from the generation of Noah to the generation of
Abu al-Bashir II, the race of man has changed into one color
The book titled Sheedi Mela
says that there are five groups of Sheedi communities in Karachi and the
community is one and these five parties are affiliated with Ghoriya Zanjeer which
has five houses. This house is actually the abode of Sufis which we call Ghar,
where we celebrate the Urs of Baba Ghor on certain days and the annual Sheedi
Mela of Manghopir is also celebrated by these five groups together. In
which a large number of martyrs from Sindh and Balochistan are participating.
The celebrations of this Urs last for seven days in which Sheedi Dhamal is
fully organized. This festival seems to be a collection of Sheedi rituals.
All these rituals belong to
Ghoriya. And it's also called a seasonal festival. In ancient times, when the
date crop was ripe, our (Sheedi) people used to organize this festival.
Currently, the festival is organized by four major parties of the Sheedi community,
including Kharadar Sheedi Jamaat, Lasi Sheedi Jamaat, Hyderabad
Sheedi Jamaat, and Belara Sheedi Jamaat. By uniting all these
parties, a Panch Sheedi Jamaat has been formed which has been named as Joint
Sheedi Jamaat and the annual Urs of Manghopirka has also been included in its
responsibility. The point is that Sheedi Badshah is an informative book
that contains a wealth of information about the Sheedi community and
also refutes some popular assumptions about the Sheedi tribe which
highlight the uniqueness of the book.
