Black People (Sheedi) Pakistan and Black History Month
Black People (Sheedi) and Black History Month
The month of black history
is underway, and the events of the past year are heartbreaking. The death of
George Floyd this year has sparked a new wave of exploitation that
has caused black people around the world to think so. Starting, will
this process continue? Black Live Meter has become a movement that is
an effective voice against racism. On the occasion of this month, we also
talk about the calls in Pakistan about which very little information has
reached all over the world.
The existence of blacks in the subcontinent: -
In the subcontinent, blacks are called Sidi, Abyssinian, and Sheedi. And
researchers have different opinions about them; some say they were
slaves in the region, while others say they are the oldest and most
original people in the region. Now, as far as slavery is concerned, there
are concerns, but what is said about the real people of the region needs to
be researched. For this, we have to take into account the opinion of some
historians. Dr. Allah Rakhi Butt writes in his book 'Smart' that according
to anthropologists, the ancient and original nations of the southern regions
of India have been inhabited since the creation of this world, or such
nations have been inhabited since then. When Africa and Asia were one
continent

Where such migrations took place on a large scale, the appearance and
suspicion of such nomadic peoples prove that these peoples must belong to
African nations somewhere. This is the reference made by Bherumal
Mehrchand Advani in his book "Ancient Sindh". I have also given.
Dr. Syed Mohammad Amir Gilani writes in his book "Al-Ajnas Al-Qadeem" about
blacks that "they are big lovers of arts and they are also more inclined
towards it, they are fond of singing, they are happy with their collective
happiness. They express their happiness in a vulgar way. They consider it
their duty to look after their fellow human beings or for the sake of them
together. Their faces are long and their nostrils are wide while they are a
little narrower and thin. Their teeth are large and their molars come out
quickly, but they break down after a long time. Their lips are thick and
puffy, their skulls are outstretched and their arms are long.
There is no denying the fact that civilizations always flourished
and perished on the banks of rivers. Like the civilizations of Tigris,
Euphrates, and Egypt, the civilization of Sindh was settled on the
banks of the river and was destroyed. Anthropologists and historians agree
that the founders of this civilization were black people with thick lips,
dark complexion, broad noses, curly hair, and medium height. He was the
founder of the great civilization that has astonished the developed nations
of the world. Referring to the statement of the German researcher "Razali"
regarding the ancient peoples of Sindh, Rahim Dad Moulai Sheedai writes that
"the ancient people of India were slightly darker in color, curly hair,
broad nose, and medium height".
This southern region of Sindh has been geographically integrated into Asia
but its ancient history has been lost or deliberately lost, but the fact is
that its original and ancient inhabitants must have existed in one form or
another. Mir Ali Sher Qane, a well-known historian of Sindh writes in the
preface of his book "Tahfat-ul-Ikram" that "this region got its name from
Hind and Sindh because of the two sons of Ham bin Noah,
'Hind and Sind'." The same thing is written by Maulvi Shaidai in
another book Janat-ul-Sind.
The meaning of the word Sheedi:
Historians write that the word Sheedi is a corruption of the Arabic word
Sidi. This word was brought by the Arabs in this region, while even today
this word is common in Arabia which means, honorable, gentleman, which is
addressed to someone. According to the tradition we have heard from our
great elders about the word Sheedi, 'Sheed' means the steel which burns in
the fire and turns black. In this region, the word she has been denigrated
by scholars, intellectuals, and researchers, which is why many people did
not consider it good, and at the same time, they have labeled it as slavery.
The humiliating element also came to the fore.
Background of blacks in the region:
Sheedi has been a question for the region, anyone who sees it is forced to
think about how and why these people are here. Black workers have never
revealed their true background. He added fabricated material of his own to
whatever external material he found. With so many misunderstandings that
still exist today, our black Sheedi generation has embarked on this
extremely difficult journey of history with great patience and perseverance.
Determination, loyalty, and pacifism are ingrained in our veins, many of
which are part of history and many of which have distorted history. Our
Shaidis, especially in Sindh, have adopted two relationships, one being
Bilali and the other Qambrani. No matter what happens to us, these two
relationships are based on devotion and love, which most people consider to
be caste.
Black and white
have played a major role in determining the social order in the world, a
process that has been going on since ancient times. So much has been written
and filmed about it that it is now present in every corner of the mind; the
same tactics that white people have used to prove their superiority have
been used by
black people. But still, the decision of superiority and inferiority cannot be made.
God's commandments are that all human beings are equal. Degrees are formed
by good deeds, whether they are black or white. As far as blacks are
concerned, they look unique in the world because of their color and race,
and they are also culturally ancient, but the way they have been genocidal
is forced to do this by human beings.
The Role of Blacks in the History of the Subcontinent:
Historians say that most of the Sheedis came as black slaves or prisoners
of war or migrated because of the conditions in Africa. Hence, it was common
practice to employ many Sheedevs in military jobs as bodyguards. It is not
Surprising, therefore, that many Sheedis went on to become prominent
military leaders in Indian history. Mahmud Ghaznavi, who himself was the son
of a Turkish Ghulam Al-Patgin, is credited with most of his war strategy to
Sheedi Ghulam Ayaz.
Yaqut Sheedi, the brave chieftain of Iltmish, whom Razia Sultana fell in love
with, Sheedi Malik Kafur came under Alauddin Khilji in the Gujrat
campaign, and soon became the commander of the army by virtue of his
ability. Many of Alauddin Kheiji's conquests fell to
Sheedi Malik Kafur.
In the region of Gujarat, Kathiawara and Maharashtra, the Sheedis
established two autonomous states named Zanjira and Sachin. During
the reign of Mughal Emperor Akbar, the Sheedis founded a fleet that
protected the west coast of India.
Sheedi Malik Anbar, who was the brave ruler of South India, formed a confederation consisting
of Ahmadnagar, Bijapur, and Golconda to stop the invasion of the Mughals and
protected the south for forty years. Finally, after the death of
Malik Amber, South India was conquered by the Mughals.
Apart from this, many Sheedevs have played their role in the history of
India, but biased and racist historians have never given them any
significant place. This black month is an opportunity for us to express our
feelings, in which the fact comes out that we are one and always will be.
And like black people, we are victims of prejudice and racism.
