Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova has been banned for 4 years for refusing
a doping test.
Czech tennis
star Marketa Vondrousova refused an anti-doping test in December 2025.
The
International Tennis Integrity Agency has concluded its proceedings against
Marketa Vondrousova, with the tribunal ruling that Marketa Vondrousova could
not provide any acceptable reason for refusing the test.
The tribunal
ruled that Marketa Vondrousova will remain suspended until June 21, 2030.
Meanwhile, Marketa
Vondrousova denied the doping allegations. She took the stand that she was
concerned for her safety upon the arrival of the testing officer.
