The film "F1: The Movie" caused a stir at the box office.
Los Angeles:
Apple Films' most expensive film, "F1: The Movie," was released this
week and immediately dominated the box office in the United States and Canada.
According to
the report, the former car racing driver dominated the box office as soon as he
arrived, the Hollywood sports drama film "F1: The Movie" earned $
56.6 million in three days of release, leading the box office.
Analysts say
that at least $ 350 million was spent on the production and marketing of the
film, so the film will have to attract a large number of fans in the coming
weeks to make a profit.
Produced
under the banner of Apple Original Films, this sports drama film stars
Hollywood star Brad Pitt as a Formula 1 driver who returns to the racing track after
an accident.
The film
grossed about $55.6 million from more than 3,500 theaters in North America from
Thursday to Sunday. A large number of fans, especially in IMAX theaters, bought
expensive tickets and watched the film.
It should be
remembered that Apple's previous films 'Argyle' and 'Fly Me to the Moon' could
not achieve significant success at the box office, while last year Apple
canceled the mass release of its film 'Wolves' just in time and released it
only on Apple TV Plus.
