According to the report, global experts are concerned that the new variant will spread more rapidly. The NB 1.8.1 variant has a higher ability to bind to human cells.

Global experts say that the symptoms of the new Corona variant include sore throat, cough, fever, the severity of the Corona virus has not increased, but the speed of spread may be higher.

According to data released by the Union Health Ministry of India recently, 685 new Corona cases have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours, while four people have died due to this epidemic.

These deaths have occurred in New Delhi, Kerala, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh. The situation of active cases of Corona in different states is as follows, Maharashtra has 467, Delhi 375, Gujarat 265, Karnataka 234, West Bengal 205, Tamil Nadu 185 and Uttar Pradesh has 117 active cases.

As of May 22 of this month, there were only 257 active cases in the entire country, which increased to 1,110 by May 26 and has now reached 3,400.
