Best places for Black families to live 2023
Hello everyone, today we will be talking about the best cities to raise a black family. When I put these cities together, I thought about a lot of things besides showing a lot of black people. Not only are they very expensive, but they also have another problem of crime problems.
I've listed
every city where blacks make up at least 10 percent of the population, which is
close to 80 percent in the US. There are also good schools where you live. It
takes a lot of digging to find a city with such a young age and low crime rate,
sadly many of the cheaper places aren't that safe and many of the safer places
are expensive. There are, but few cities manage to find a balance of
affordability and good schools.
The places
I've chosen aren't all perfect, but any of them would be great places to raise
a black family, so those are the top cities mentioned here.
No.
10 Farmington Michigan
If you're
like my wife and hate the cold, you should probably skip it, but other than
that, Farmington isn't a bad place. I've improved on Detroit's bad rap. A
30-minute drive to downtown Detroit, you're in the middle of nature. The
Farmington area also has a few nature parks, and while the cost of living is
about the same as the US average, the unemployment rate and average home prices
are lower than in the US.
Best places for Black families to live 2023
Average means there are good job opportunities and
affordable housing has very little crime, and the latest data I found showed
that the schools had an average test score that was 21% higher than the
national average. If you are looking north then this place is a must-see.
No. 9 Hoover Alabama
Located just a few miles from Hoover Alabama, a
growing suburb of Birmingham, known for its many golf courses, it also has a
beautiful large mall called the River Chase Galleria. The waterfall gardens and
lakeside cottages are worth the price. A little higher, but the cost of living
is about nine percent below the US average. Crimes are happening in the
area. 25 percent below the national average and the school's average test score
was 21 above the national average and 19 percent of the population is black You
won't be alone in this town.
Number eight Tavares Florida
Along
with Disney World and Universal Studios, your kids will want to move here
tomorrow. Tavares Florida is a city about an hour north of Orlando that is
probably one of the smallest cities on this list. Which I generally know means
there isn't much here.
Black people
but rest assured 13 the population is black a lot of retirees also live in
these areas when all the kids are grown it's a good place if you like to fish
this is definitely the place for you because it The town is basically surrounded.
Through the
lakes, you and your family can enjoy all the theatrical activities you want.
Tavares is possibly one of the most affordable places on this list when it
comes to the cost of living, unemployment, and average home prices compared to the
national average. Even lower than crime and 29 below the national average. Test
scores are six percent above the national average.
Seventh place Malden South Carolina
I've been to quite a few bars in Maldon and
overall it's a pretty quiet town. Compared to other nearby towns, the area has
hardly a history of crime, which is about 26 below the city's national average.
A few minutes drive from downtown Greenville, which has previously been
recognized as one of the largest downtowns in the country. Maudlin is slowly
building its downtown so you can expect the schools to be great with lots to do
in the area in the years to come. Average test scores are 26 higher than the
national average cost of living, and average home prices and unemployment are
slightly below the national average. Similarly, the black population in Malden
is about 23 percent.
Number six Madison Alabama
Imagine I'm going to play a city in Alabama
on this list that's twice as big on this list as a city near the northern
border of the state of Alabama. It's not far from Huntsville. The Space Station
of Haste is such a good place.
Best places for Black families to live 2023
If your child dreams of becoming an
astronaut. Jobs Coming to Madison If you're interested in the tech industry,
it's a great area to live in. Madison also has some of the best schools in the
country. Their test scores are 42 higher than the national average housing and
the cost of living is lower. A slightly more expensive home than other cities
on this list will probably cost you around 200 to 300, but crime is 45 percent
lower than the national average and unemployment are 25 percent lower.
Number Five Hernandez
Mississippi
Mississippi isn't a state where most people
think of leaving Hernandez, Mississippi is one of the few cities that might
make you rethink that state's northern border city, Memphis. It's not far from
Tennessee and these cities are so close that it's actually too many.
Residents commute to work, which probably
explains why Hernando's unemployment rate is 42 percent below the national
average. No need to worry too much about being allowed to play outside
unsupervised.
For
days where you'll stay out until the street lights come back on, the city is
one of the safest on the list, with a crime rate 54 percent below the national
average, good schools, and test scores of 16. There are more. National Average
While there isn't much to do in the city, you can always take a short drive to
Memphis for more activities.
The number four pearl in Texas.
Just 30 minutes southeast of Houston, one of
the reasons I put this city so high is because it had the best test scores of
all the cities on this list. The number of students graduating from the school
was 73 percent higher than the national average. That is 10 above the US
average.
Basically, your child has a pretty good
chance of doing well. The city is great for families who are more outdoorsy,
with a park, a lake, and lots of walking trails, while average home prices and
living standards. The cost of living was slightly higher than average unemployment.
And the crime rate was significantly lower than the average American resident
appreciates the area's diversity and family atmosphere, with a black ratio of
about 18.
Number three Holly Springs
North Carolina Holly Springs North Carolina
is about 25 minutes away and is considered one of the safest cities in North
Carolina. With a crime rate 71 percent below the national average, the best
average test scores in schools are 64 percent higher than the national average
for residents.
Best places for Black families to live 2023
Seen as a family-friendly area with numerous shopping areas and restaurants, it is seen as a growing city. With more housing, shops, and other amenities being built in the town, home prices and cost of living are higher among about 11 percent of the population. Most cities are on this list but if you can afford it, it would be a great place to raise your family.
Number two Collierville Tennessee
Collierville Tennessee is located 35
minutes outside of Memphis. For anyone out there who doesn't know if I'm pronouncing
this name correctly, feel free to clarify the pronunciation in the comments.
However, Coolville has a lot to offer with great schools, job opportunities,
and more housing.
There
is also a town square where people play live music during the summer months. In
addition to the crime problems for Memphis Tower, Collierville's crime rate is
37 below the national average. You will have good fortune in most of the houses
here. The houses I saw listed were around 300 to 400. Housing isn't cheap
either, unfortunately, that's the price of wanting to live in a good community.
Sometimes area schools have average test scores higher than 58. The national
average and the black population makes up about 14 percent of the city, and the
people of the area are generally described as kind and welcoming.
Number one Pflugerville Texas
Pflugerville Texas, a town just 30 minutes
from Thrift, is named after a German immigrant, Henry Pfluger. who left his
home in 1849 to escape the Prussian War Staying here allows you to escape all
the busy traffic near Austin's downtown Austin area.
The rising cost of living in Austin drove
the migration here. About 16 percent of Pflugerville's population is black. The
city also has a crime rate that is 45 percent below the national average and an
unemployment rate that is 29 percent below the national average. are because
many who move there think that black families will be lucky to be able to call
Pflugerville home.
Hope you enjoyed this list, feel free to
let me know which city thermostat you like. Be sure to let us know your
thoughts, thanks
